Overview
Located on the south east coast of France on the Mediterranean, Marseille is France's largest commercial port. France's second largest city, Marseille is a major French centre for trade and industry, with excellent transportation infrastructure including connections with the Rhone via a canal and thus giving access to the extensive waterway network of France.
DP World manages a number of operations in the port of Marseille through its holding in Intramar, part of the Port Synergy venture with CMA-CGM. The operations are based in several different terminals in the Marseille port area, which is located in the city centre. Mourepiane is the container terminal within Marseille and is the French container gateway to North Africa. Based in the city centre it has excellent highway and railway access. Pinede is a Multi-purpose terminal through which break-bulk, bulk, cars, RoRo and containers are handled.
